Design and deposit terms

These terms are demo content for the fictional Hollin & Stone. Replace them with your own.
Design visit
The design visit costs £120, paid on the day. If you go ahead with a design within three months, we take it off the design fee.
Design deposit
The £250 deposit holds the next free design slot in the studio’s diary and is taken off the design fee. If you cancel more than 14 days before your survey date, we refund it in full; after that, it covers the time we’ve set aside.
The design
Your plan is yours to keep and build with anyone. It includes two rounds of changes; more are charged at our hourly rate, agreed in advance.
The build
We quote a fixed price for the work in the plan. Payments: a quarter when you book the build, a half when the stone is down, the rest when the planting is in and you’re happy. If we find something unexpected underground, we stop and agree the cost with you before we go on.
Plants
Plants are guaranteed for two years with a care plan, and for the first growing season otherwise, provided they’re watered as we advise.
